How To Roll A Blunt

Here's how to roll your own blunt:

What you will need:

  • A Cigar
  • Weed
  • Blades, knife or scissors (optional)
  • Grinder (optional)
  • Lighter

Begin by unwrapping the cigar. Lick your blunt until it is moist. Your cigar has been sitting for who knows how long and might be flakey and fall apart if you don't moisten it.

Follow the spiral of the leaf to the end of the cigar. You will begin cutting from here. Using a sharp blade, or your fingernail (if it is sharp enough) cut a straight line down the length of the cigar. Empty the insides (known as "guts") out by spreading apart the leaf and using your fingers to push it out. Push the guts out gently so as not to tear the leaf.

At this point some people prefer to remove the rounded edge of the blunt. Cut or tear it off, it makes it easier to roll.

Now you have the basic rectangular shell of the wrap. Notice the seam between the leaf and the wrapper? Moisten it with a quick swipe of your tongue, and press the leaf and the wrap together. Do this for both sides.

Now you can organize your product. Tear apart the buds from the stems and shred your weed, the smaller the better. Using a grinder might be handy. Separate any seeds and stems.

Spread your product between the wrap with less towards the mouthpiece. Using your pointer fingers and thumbs pick up the wrap. Form the product inside the wrap into the shape of a pencil. Once the shape is formed, lay the wrap down on the table. Snugly tuck the wrap into itself and roll it forward. Roll, DO NOT FOLD. Continue this along the entire length of the cigar. Roll tight but not too tight. Once you've tucked it all in, roll it up. Once rolled pick up the cigar. Lick the seam with as little saliva as possible. 1-3 quick licks is all you need.

If you feel it is necessary, use a blade to trim the ends.

Here you have it - the perfect blunt. Enjoy!
